What makes your work day?
As a VP of Engineering for our Acuant team and an agile advocate, my passion and biggest challenge is to bring diverse groups of engineers together and grow them into motivated autonomous teams. I have been privileged to work with teams across our extensive product and technology portfolio, in documents, biometric, identity, fraud, compliance – and bringing it all together in our automated digital onboarding and KYC platform, Acuant®GO.

How does Acuant®GO help?
GO is an automated verification and KYC solution. It makes for fast and easy deployment by utilizing pre-built, no-code, mobile-optimized forms for easily customizable customer journeys. The workflow engine also gives each customer the flexibility that they need to add more rules or take actions based on the rule engine. The platform allows our customer to leverage all our capabilities and services without needing any integration changes.

What do you love about life at GBG?
I love the culture of transparency, openness and our Open Door policy. It’s really the people that I work with which make all the difference – an ‘A+’ team of passionate, highly technical team members who drive innovation and bring out best in each other.
Remote work allows me to spend time going for walks with Coco, our COVID puppy and newest addition to our household, after the school drop-off in the mornings. With the flexibility that comes with our Work When and Where You Want policy, I have also found time to pick up tennis as a new hobby and will now be able to participate in United States Tennis Association (USTA) league competitions.
All these things come together to provide a great professional experience and work-life balance, for which I am truly grateful.
