Cool tips for ICE London 2023

It’s game on for ICE London 2023 - the world’s biggest gaming technology exhibition and we’re serving up ICE cool tips to get the most out of a great event.

From February 7-9, 35,000 delegates will pour into ExCeL London for a three-day global gaming industry extravaganza that attracts operators and suppliers from more than 150 countries.

ICE is the perfect opportunity to meet decision-makers, technology experts, policy regulators and all the big players from the international gaming community over three busy days and 50+ networking events.

If your inner delegate is daunted by the sheer scale of ICE London, fear not! As ICE regulars, we at GBG are here to help you to be wise before the event, turn your expo ordeal to ideal and serve up some ICE London survival tips to separate the ICE Cool from the ICE Cold.

Planning your day

With 650+ products and solutions to see first-hand and a huge list of industry-leading speakers, visit the My ICE Gateway, sketch out a schedule and arrange your meetings in advance.  Top of our 2023 agenda: helping you win in new markets and making sure you don’t leave compliance or player protection to chance.

Aching feet

ExCeL London is a massive, 100,000 square metre exhibition space – so big, it’s served by not one but two public transport stops, Custom House (DLR and Elizabeth line) and Royal Albert (DLR)! The odds of you scoring your 10,000 steps a day are good, so comfortable footwear is the safest bet.

Stay hydrated

You won’t be still, so make sure you’re sparkling. Whether you choose tap water or added electrolytes, keep your H2O ICED and within easy reach to avoid drying out. There’s a good selection of bars, restaurants and eateries at ExCeL London, so refreshment is never far away. Stay cool and stay focused.

Arriving at opening time

Turn up on Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 and you’re likely to find yourself last in a line of 35,000 gaming delegates. As an ICE London pro, you’ll print out your entry pass before you travel and aim to arrive early (or fashionably late). Get to know the ICE London layout ahead of time and you won’t miss your first meeting.

Celebrity spotting

ICE London has a stellar record of celebrity drop-ins. David ‘The Hoff’ Hasselhoff, Usain ‘Lightning’ Bolt, Ronnie ‘The Rocket’ O’Sullivan and Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall have all made guest appearances. So, as you’re pacing the exhibition, keep your eyes peeled and smartphone ready for a selfie with a star.
