The Supplier Data used to provide the UK Telephone Number Database Datasets is supplied by British Telecommunications, “BT”. GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with BT to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the following licencing provisions. These Additional Terms apply to the use of all UK Telephone Number Database Datasets. Individual UK Telephone Number Database Datasets can be identified by the ID Number listed on the End User’s Order Form.

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms and Product Terms:
Codes of Practice” shall mean the Codes of Practice on Telecommunications Directory Information Covering the Fair Processing of Personal Information; dated 21ST December 1998 - published by the Data Protection Registrar; and any similar code of practice, directive or regulations as may be issued, amended or replaced from time to time by any Competent Authority;
Competent Authority” shall mean any department of Her Majesty’s Government; the Director General of Telecommunications; the Data Protection Registrar; the Data Protection Commissioner; the Commission of the European Union or any similar authority;
End User Data” means any data provided to GBG by the End User for processing in accordance with the terms of the Agreement including where relevant any personal data.
Permitted Purpose” means the purposes, restrictions and/or conditions for the use of the Dataset outlined by the Supplier as set out in clauses 2.3 – 2.4 below, in addition to the Customer Use Case set out in the Agreement and at clause 2.1.

2. USE OF THE DATASET
2.1. This Dataset may only be used for the Customer Use Case detailed below, provided that such Customer Use Case is selected on the End User’s Order Form and the End User complies with any use case restrictions set out in the Agreement:
• Customer Management (Appending)
• Customer Management (Data Quality)
• Customer Management (Indicators)
• Records Management (Appending)
• Records Management (Data Quality)
2.2. In addition to the Customer Use Case restrictions contained within clause 2.1 (including any conditions that apply to that Customer Use Case) the following terms set out in clauses 2.3-2.4 also apply.
2.3. The End User shall
(a) Only use this Dataset for its own internal business purpose;
(b) adopt and be bound by all applicable laws and Codes of Practice including the Applicable Data Protection Laws and the Codes of Practice on Telecommunications Directory Information Covering the Fair Processing of Personal Data; and
(c) if any complaint is made which relates to the End User’s use of this Dataset then the End User shall assist BT where requested by GBG on BT’s behalf in investigating the complaint and shall take such steps as are reasonably necessary to remedy the complaint as soon as practicable
2.4. The End User shall not:
(a) Use this Dataset for any unlawful purpose or purpose likely to bring BT into disrepute;
(b) distribute, publish or display the Supplier Data or Results or any part of the Supplier Data or Results by any means;
(c) export or permit the export of the Supplier Data or Results to any country which is not a member state of the European Union without the express written consent of GBG; and
(d) use Supplier Data or Dataset for any marketing or direct marketing purposes.
2.5. The End User warrants that it will not use this Dataset for any reason outside of the Customer Use Case and Permitted Purpose.

3. DATA PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS
3.1. GBG provides this Dataset in its capacity as an independent data controller.
3.2. GBG does not transfer End User Data to BT to provide this element of the Service.

4. MATCHING RULE
4.1. This Dataset will be processed against the Standard Matching Rule of surname and address
