GBG announces new leadership for Americas

The global expert in digital identity appoints James Bruni, leading expert in growth leadership, as Managing Director for the region

AUGUST 01, 2023, LONDON: GBG (AIM:GBG), the global expert in digital location, identity verification and fraud software, has appointed James Bruni as Managing Director, Identity & Fraud, Americas.

James brings over 25 years’ experience in revenue growth leadership and commercial and operational management expertise for both public and private businesses in the technology industry. Prior to joining GBG, James was Managing Director, Americas for SHL and held senior executive positions in global organisations including LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters.

As part of a long-term succession strategy, James joined GBG in March 2023 as Chief Revenue Officer, Americas, before joining the GBG Executive team as Managing Director, Identity & Fraud, Americas this month. James will be responsible for driving the next phase of GBG’s growth and innovation across the Americas region and ensuring strategic alignment with teams globally.

James succeeds Chris Luttrell, who has been with IDology since 2007 and led the business through acquisition by GBG in 2019 as well as the integration of Acuant with IDology earlier this year.
