To be compliant with the new Chinese regulations, China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), anyone who requires access to these Datasets as part of their identity verification service, ID3global, with us will need to complete a form.

What do I need to do if I would like to keep access to these Datasets?

To access either the 0361 China National ID Dataset or the 0362 China Bank Card Dataset, you need to complete a form by 4 May 2022 providing general information about the nature of your business, as well as evidence of the way in which you capture consent from the data subject. The 0361 China National ID and 0362 China Bank Card Datasets are subject to Additional Terms which can be found here.  These will apply to your use of the 0361 China National ID and 0362 China Bank Card Datasets should you wish to keep access to these Datasets and will be deemed to be Incorporated Into your Agreement.  

Once we have received the completed form from you, you do not need to do anything else for this change to happen, our service management team are able to grant our professional services team temporary access to your profiles so they can take care of all the necessary changes.

We are retiring the 0309 China Population Dataset (ID 100484) on 21 June 2022 and replacing it with a superior alternative, the 0361 China National ID Dataset (ID Number 200296).

Our own monitoring shows us that this replacement has better availability and efficiency. There is no additional charge for using this Dataset.

What do I need to do if I would like access to the alternative Dataset?

Your New Zealand Combined Dataset(s) will be retired.

We regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to offer the New Zealand Combined Datasets as part of your service, as we move to source directly from providers who have access to the data. We will be retiring these datasets on 21 June 2022, however we do have an alternative available.

What do I need to do if I would like access to the alternative Datasets?

Your New Zealand Datasets will need to be replaced with an alternative.

The replacement New Zealand Datasets are subject to Additional Terms which can be found here. These will apply to your use of the replacement New Zealand Datasets described above should you wish to access them and will be deemed to be Incorporated Into your Agreement.

We will arrange a call with you and a member of our professional services team to discuss the changes, so we can ensure that the service is configured to your unique specification. In addition, we will need to send you an Addendum to your Agreement to include these new datasets.

As a data controller we regularly conduct in-depth privacy due diligence assessments on our data partners, ensuring they meet the required standards of a data controller. This is a standard that other data businesses may not yet be adhering to, but we are setting a standard that privacy regulators around the world are coming to expect. By taking greater responsibility in the sourcing, management, and protection of data we can give you greater confidence in the data underpinning our services.

Your Luxembourg Landline Dataset will be retired.

We regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to offer the 0263 Luxembourg Landline Dataset as part of your service which will be retired on 21 June 2022.

We will send you a confirmation once the Luxembourg Landline Dataset has been suspended, and at that point we recommend that you remove it from your configuration profile(s). We regret to inform you that our data supplier will no longer be providing this dataset to us, and as such we will be suspending access to this dataset on Thursday 30 June 2022.
