Data Quality

You have a need to ensure the data you capture is accurate, enabling you to onboard and interact with your customer effectively, reducing failed deliveries and improving your customer’s journey.

Utilities Register

Utilities – Energy Supplier

You are an Energy Supplier and market participant of the Ofgem Switching Programme, and party to the Retail Energy Code (REC). You have a requirement as an Energy Service User to utilise GBG’s Utilities Register to gain access to EES and/or GES data, as determined under the Accession Agreement between you and REC Co. You will use the Utilities Register, including address verification service, to obtain data solely for the purposes of providing switching services.

Utilities – Third Party Intermediary

You are a Third Party Intermediary (TPI) (broker or introducer acting between Consumers and Energy Suppliers, including Price Comparison Websites (PCWs)). You have a requirement as a TPI to utilise GBG’s Utilities Register to gain access to EES and/or GES data, as determined under the Access Agreement between GBG and RECCo and set out in your Agreement with GBG (including the Additional Terms relating to GBG’s Utility Register. You will use the Utilities Register, including address verification service, to obtain data solely for the purposes of assisting a consumer in exploring whether to make a switch.
