GBG provides this Dataset as part of the Service. These Additional Terms are to notify the End User of the processing that will be carried out by GBG on the provision of this Dataset.

1. DEFINITIONS
In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms and Product Terms:
“End User Data” means any data provided to GBG by the End User for processing in accordance with the terms of the Agreement including where relevant any personal data.

2. PROVISION OF THE DATASET
2.1 As part of the provision of the Service, GBG will collect, store and analyse information about the End User’s use of the Service including information input (“Customer Data”) and the outcome/results generated as a result of transactions undertaken by the End User in order to create derivative works, insights, reports or products (“Derived Data”). This may include, but is not limited to, assessing Dataset match rates, population coverage, Service uptime and customer experience and/ or the aggregation of End User Data, with other third-party data to generate risk scores or create fraud and/or identity alerts (“Risk Scores and Alerts”).
2.2 The End User grants GBG a worldwide, fully paid-up, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free, transferable licence to collect, store, use, analyse, make available and commercially exploit the information collected as a result of clause 1.2. for the purposes of:
(a) creating Derived Data;
(b) creating Risk Scores and Alerts; and
(c) improving GBG solutions and identifying future opportunities.
2.3 GBG confirms that Derived Data:
(a) will not be used for marketing purposes by GBG or GBG Customers;
(b) will not be shared in bulk with third parties;
(c) will always be created from multiple sources to ensure that no data variables from an individual customer record within the End User Data will be used in isolation;
(d) will be used by use by organisations, only for tracing of individuals, verification and/or validation of the identity of individuals or an address;
(e) will be created and processed in accordance with GBG’s Products and Services Privacy Policy available at: Products Services Privacy Policy | GBG (gbgplc.com) and all Applicable Data Protection Laws.

3. DATA PROTECTION
3.1 GBG provides this Dataset in its capacity as an independent data controller.
3.2 GBG does not use Supplier Data or Supplier Technology to provide this Dataset.
3.3 The Customer confirms that it has complied with all Applicable Data Protection Laws and Local Laws in respect of Customer Data and as far as it is aware there is no reason why GBG could not use the Customer Data for the purposes referenced at clauses 2.1-2.3 above

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1 All Intellectual Property Rights in and to any Derived Data created by GBG belong and shall continue to belong to GBG. Consequently, GBG may use or commercially exploit the Derived Data in accordance with these Additional Terms
