The data that GBG uses to provide Edited Electoral Roll & Verification data is supplied by GBG’s Data Supplier. GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with its Data Supplier to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the provisions set out below.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. In this Appendix, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms:
“Permitted Purpose” means use of the Supplier Data for selection, analysis and modelling by the End User to promote commercial efficiency and productivity, and solely for the End User’s internal business use.

2. USE OF THE SUPPLIER DATA
2.1 The End User warrants that it will not use the Supplier Data for any reason outside of the Permitted Purpose.
2.2 The End User shall not use the Supplier Data to create a similar data file or database or for the provision of credit reference information services.
2.3 The End User shall comply with all legislation or regulations from time to time governing the use and possession of the Supplier Data and will conform to good industry practice in relation to direct marketing including (without limitation) the British Code of Advertising and Sales Promotion and the Direct Marketing Association Code of Practice.
2.4 The End User acknowledges that the Supplier Data is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind.

3. DATA PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS
3.1 GBG does not use Sub-processors to provide this element of the Service as the Supplier Data is hosted by GBG.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
4.1 All rights and interest (including without limitation copyright and other intellectual property rights and proprietary rights) in the Supplier Data vest in and are expressly reserved by the Data Supplier (or its third party licensors) and the End User shall acquire no rights whatsoever therein.

5. TERMINATION
5.1 Notwithstanding the termination provisions between GBG and the Client in the General Terms, under the terms of GBG’s agreement with the Data Supplier, the supply of the Supplier Data can be terminated on 12 months’ notice.
