GBG is delighted to announce that it has won the 'Email B2B Email Marketing' category at this year's DataStrategy Awards. This industry recognition rewards GBG's ability to deliver innovative and effective marketing solutions, helping organisations to understand and engage with their customers with outstanding success rates.
GBG received the award for its work with UK publisher Future, in particular for its work on Linux Format Magazine and Myfavouritemagazine.co.uk. GBG was tasked with converting subscribers to longer-term subscriptions, lengthening their commitment to the magazine and improving retention rates. GBG achieved this with exceptional results.
Future's Head of Data, Alastair Turner said: "I've never seen results like these before. We didn't just meet our objectives, we smashed them!"
John Joyce Director ID Engagement at GBG said: "We are delighted to have received this recognition for our marketing services. Our work with Future achieved incredible results and it is just one of the many amazing campaigns we have been able to run this year. This award confirms GBG's ability to offer brands effective and valuable engagement with their customers. This is a very exciting time for GBG".
This news comes just days after GBG's CEO Richard Law was awarded CEO of the Year at the Grant Thornton Quoted Company Awards. This award came after the identify management company grew shares by nearly 100 per cent in the last year. It also follows a string of awards for GBG's marketing services including Database Marketing's 'Outstanding Marketing Service Provider of the Year' in 2012 and 2013 and 'Agency of the Year' at the 2012 Amplify EMEA Awards.
