GBG expands its global ID Verification coverage in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe

London – 3rd April 2013 – GB Group Plc, the leading Identity Management specialist, has announced today that it can now provide an in-depth ID Verification solution for New Zealand, Singapore and Luxembourg.


The release of this new country coverage means that businesses will be able to verify the identity of citizens who reside in these countries, whilst complying to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations or age verification requirements.  It also increases GBGroup’s (GBG) ability to provide a deeper level of ID Verification of citizens in countries that represent approximately 55% of global GDP.

According to the latest MasterCard Online Shopping Survey, two-thirds (68%) of New Zealanders use the internet for online shopping among other activities, and 82.3% shopped online in the past three months. Singapore recorded the biggest increases in online shopping behavior, registering a 9 Index Point increase in 2012.
