GBG, the global leader in Identity Intelligence, has announced the appointment of Karyn Bright to the role of Group Marketing Director. Karyn has strong experience in marketing B2B brands internationally and joins GBG from Gazprom Energy, where she had global responsibility for marketing and communications for the Russian energy giant's retail division.
This included working within international communities including Japan, Germany and Russia. Karyn's technology experience includes senior European marketing roles at SAS institute and Sybase and she was Head of Marketing at GBG from 2005-2009 during the development of its first generation of ID Verification Solutions.
Karyn's international experience will be crucial in helping GBG further raise its global profile, particularly following the recent acquisition of the Australian fraud solutions provider, DecTech Solutions, to extend operations into the Asia-Pacific region.
