• GBG hosts the Supplier Data
• No personal data is transferred to the Supplier

The Supplier Data that GBG uses to provide Business Name Searching is obtained from GBG’s Supplier. GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with its Supplier to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the following licencing provisions:

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms:
“End User Data” means any data provided to GBG by the End User for processing in accordance with the terms of the Agreement including where relevant any personal data.
“Permitted Purpose” means the purposes for which the Dataset may be used as set out in clause 2.1 below.

2. USE OF THE SUPPLIER DATA
GBG is under licence to provide Personally Identifiable Information to the End User, the End User acknowledges and accepts that:
2.1 Save where there is a conflict with any use case restrictions set out in the Agreement, the Supplier Data may only be used for the Customer Use Cases detailed below, provided that such Customer Use Case is selected on the End User's Order Form:
• Fraud
• Law Enforcement
• Debt Collection
• Asset Reunification
• Evidence Gatherers (B2B/Private Sector
• Affordability
• Media
2.2 The End User warrants that it will not use the Supplier Data for any reason outside the Permitted Purpose.
2.3 Notwithstanding clause 2.2, the End User is permitted to pass the Supplier Data to its third party service providers provided that such third parties only process the Supplier Data for the benefit of the End User.

3. DATA PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS
3.1 GBG provides this element of the Service in its capacity as an independent data controller.
3.2 GBG does not transfer End User Data to the Supplier to provide this element of the Service.
