GLOBAL ADDRESS (L) - UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE ADDRESS DATA | ID NUMBER USPSV001 & 100438

  • GBG hosts the Supplier Data
  • No Sub-processors are used

The Supplier Data that GBG uses to provide the United States Postal Service Address Data is supplied by United States Postal Service ("USPS"). GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with USPS to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the following provisions:


1. USE OF THE SERVICE
1.1 AMS, DPV, LACS and SUITE API (which are specific components of the United States Address Data) shall be used for validating legitimately obtained addresses only and the End User must not under any circumstances use AMS, DPV, LACS and SUITE API for the purpose of artificially creating address lists.

2. END USER OBLIGATIONS
2.1 The End User agrees to comply with all USPS regulations governing the publication and distribution of the Supplier Data.

3. LIABILITY
3.1 The provisions of this Agreement relating to the United States Address Data shall inure to the benefit of the USPS.
3.2 GBG and USPS have the right to seek injunctive relief against the End User should the value or confidentiality of the Supplier Data be threatened, without requiring GBG or USPS to prove any actual damage.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
4.1 The End User acknowledges the Supplier, USPS’s rights to the Data and the following Licensed Marks: United States Postal Service®, Postal Service ™, Post Office ™, United States Post Office ®, the Eagle logo, ZIP+4®, CASS ™, CASS Certified ™, DPV®, eLOT®, RDI™, LACS ®, Suite®.

5. DATA PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS
5.1 GBG does not use Sub-processors to provide this element of the Service as the Supplier Data is hosted by GBG.

6. TERMINATION
6.1 Notwithstanding the termination provisions between GBG and the End User in the General Terms, under the terms of GBG’s agreement with USPS, the supply of United States Address data can be terminated by USPS without cause upon 1 years’ notice to GBG and consequently, GBG shall be required to terminate supply of the United States Address Data to the End User upon the effective date of cancellation.
